Frequently Asked Questions

You guys are always busy. Will you even be able to get to my car?

Yes. We can usually get your vehicle in for diagnostics within a day. Once the diagnosis is done, we’ll go over what we found and the estimate with you, then schedule the repair into the next open slot based on how big the job is. Call (979) 616-7235 or send a request through our contact form to get on the schedule.

Can you guys tow my vehicle?

Yes. When our schedule allows, we’ll handle the pickup ourselves. In El Campo, it’s $50 to pick up a running or drivable vehicle and $100 if it needs a trailer or tow strap. In surrounding towns within 20 miles, it’s $100 for a running or drivable pickup and $200 if a trailer is needed. If you need a tow truck instead, or you’re more than 25 miles out, call (979) 616-7235 and we’ll arrange it.

Do you do mobile repairs and diagnostics?

For our fleet customers, yes. We can come to you for mobile diagnostics and repairs. We don’t offer mobile service for individual customers. For major diagnostics or repairs, we prefer to have your vehicles at the shop, where we have our full equipment.

Do you guys do custom tuning?

Yes. We custom-tune diesel trucks, including Duramax, Powerstroke and Cummins, and gas platforms like LS, LT and Hemi, using HP Tuners and EFI Live. Every tune is built for your vehicle, your mods and how you drive, and we offer single tunes, switchable tunes and transmission tuning. Call (979) 616-7235 or use the button below to request custom tuning.

Do you guys do computer programming?

Yes. We handle module programming and software updates for most domestic vehicles, the same way the dealer does: replacement modules, ECU/PCM flashes, key programming and factory updates, without the dealer wait. We typically need the whole vehicle at the shop, not just the module. Call (979) 616-7235 with any questions. We’re always happy to help.

Do you guys work on diesels?

Absolutely, diesel is our specialty. We handle diagnostics, repair, maintenance and performance work on Duramax, Powerstroke and Cummins trucks, from engine and transmission rebuilds to upgraded turbos, piping kits, and DCR or CP3 conversions.

Do you guys warranty your work?

Yes. We stand behind all of our work with a 90-day warranty against workmanship defects. If we did something wrong, we’ll absolutely take care of it. Parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and most engines and transmissions we sell come with a 3 or 4 year warranty.

Do you guys work with aftermarket warranties?

Yes. We work with aftermarket extended warranty companies. We do recommend reading the fine print on your contract to make sure it covers all the drivetrain components you’re expecting it to. If you’d like us to go over it with you, we’re happy to help!
